Mental Health

Critical mental health research and innovation across a number of disciplines, including:

  • The potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to detect and manage behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.
  • Advancing adolescent recovery by engaging young persons at Ontario Shores to more deeply understand recovery experiences and develop best practices for adolescent mental health care.
  • Helping patients connect back to their community by evaluating the positive impact of peer support through Ontario Shores’ Transitional Support Program which will increase social inclusion for fromer patients, enhance personal recovery, and reduce re-hospitalization.
